This policy explains how we use information from event and music release submissions, email and WhatsApp subscriptions, and visits to the site.

Information we collect

Event submissions: We store the event details you send us, along with your contact handle or email, browser information and a one-way hash of your IP address for spam control. We use this to review and possibly list your event. We never sell it.

Email signups: We store your email address, browser information and a one-way hash of your IP address for spam control. We use your email to send the updates you asked for. We never sell it.

WhatsApp signups: We store the name and mobile number you give us, browser information and a one-way hash of your IP address for spam control. We only use your number to send the updates you asked for. Reply STOP to any message, or contact us, to be removed. We never sell it.

Artist interviews

We use publicly listed professional contact details to invite artists to interviews. Contact details stay private. If you accept, we store your answers and your publication permission to prepare an interview and related features. We use Supabase for private storage and Resend for invitation delivery. We do not add interview contacts to newsletters. If you choose private draft saving, we store unfinished answers so you can resume through your invitation link. Draft-saving permission is separate from publication permission. Withdrawing removes stored answers and private article drafts. We retain delivery and reply status to prevent unwanted invitations.

You can decline through your invitation or email info@ravedubai.com to opt out, request corrections or withdraw permission. Opting out removes your stored answers and unpublished drafts; we retain a private contact record to prevent further invitations. For published material or exported editorial copies, contact us to request removal.

Music release submissions

You can also send promos to promos@ravedubai.com. We forward the original email to our management inbox and extract limited release facts and links into the private review queue. We retain the subject, sender domain and a delivery fingerprint, not a second copy of the email body or attachments. Email links are treated as private. Unclear details and embargoes require an editor to check the original message. Sending a promo does not grant artwork rights or guarantee coverage.

We store the release details, contact email, listening links and permissions you submit to assess possible editorial coverage. Contact details and private listening links stay in our private editorial system, hosted on Supabase. We store a one-way address hash for submission rate limits and remove rate-limit records after a day when the next submission is processed. Release submissions do not subscribe you to marketing. Artwork permission covers only the editorial use described on the form. Submission does not guarantee publication.

Our automated tools prepare private factual drafts from submitted details or public official release pages. An editor checks the facts and permissions before approving any copy. Email info@ravedubai.com to correct or withdraw your submission, remove private materials or request deletion of your contact details.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, when enabled, to measure page visits and actions such as ticket-link clicks. Analytics storage is disabled by default for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Ad storage and ad personalisation are disabled by default for all visitors.

Your rights

To leave a mailing list, use the unsubscribe link in an email or reply STOP on WhatsApp. You can also email info@ravedubai.com to request removal.

Affiliate links

Some of the ticket links on RaveDubai are affiliate links. If you buy a ticket through one of them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the guide free to run. It never changes which events we list.
